The whole story, and why this system exists.

I did not start with a barber chair, a cape or a client. I started with my own head, a mirror and one pair of clippers, because I had no money for a barber and I was tired of walking out of shops looking worse than I walked in.

The first cuts were bad. I took my own hairline back further than any barber ever did. I cut patches too short and wore a hat for two weeks. I put a line in crooked and then made it worse trying to straighten it. Nobody was filming it and nobody was there to tell me what I did wrong.

So I did what you do when you have more time than money: I cut again. Five years of it. Every mistake twice, until I understood why it happened and how to walk it back. By the time I was good, I was not good because I had talent. I was good because I had made every mistake there is and knew the fix for each one.

Then people started paying me. Then people you have seen started paying me. The clippers changed, the rooms changed, the money changed. The method did not. What I do in a chair now is the same thing I worked out in front of my own mirror.

And every week the same message shows up in my DMs: how do I cut my own hair. This is the answer, in order, with the mistakes taken out. It is the five years I spent, handed to you as a system, for the price of one haircut.
