Coils and 4-type hair
Dense, tight, and it shrinks — which is what makes guard numbers lie to you. You cut what looks like a 2 and it comes out a 1. The module covers the shrink factor, going up a guard to compensate, and why you cut against the grain on the sides but with it on top.

Curls
The length you see wet is not the length you get dry, and curls hide unevenness until they dry and expose it. You cut curls drier than you think and you check in stages. The fade sits differently because the curl pattern carries the blend for you.

Waves
The whole game is not disturbing the pattern. Guard direction matters more than guard number, and one pass against the grain undoes weeks of brushing. The module covers cutting with the wave, keeping your pattern through the cut, and the lineup that frames it.

Straight and fine hair
Least forgiving hair there is. Straight hair shows every line, every uneven pass and every hard edge, because nothing hides it. So you blend more, you use more guards, and you go slower on the transition. The module is built around that.
